Sausage and Smoked Cheddar Parcels

Nothing beats melted cheese in a puff pastry, which is why this recipe is perfect for the savory sausage and cheese lover. We’ve paired our smoked cheddar blend with a little beef summer sausage to create the perfect cheesy, savory bite. Round off each bite with a little dip in our famous Sweet Hot Mustard.

Here’s what you need to whip up a batch of our savory sausage and smoked cheddar parcels:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. On lightly floured surface, unroll pastry and cut each sheet into nine 3-inch squares
  3. Divide cheese and summer sausage evenly among squares
  4. Sprinkle with half of the thyme
  5. Brush edges with some of the egg
  6. Fold pastry over to create triangles; press to seal
  7. Cut small vent on top of each triangle
  8. Brush with additional egg and sprinkle with remaining thyme
  9. Transfer to two parchment paper–lined baking sheets
  10. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until puffed, flaky and golden brown
  11. Serve and enjoy
